Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processing for 500+ vendors
- Optimize invoice reconciliation and payment workflows using SAP/Oracle ERP
- Lead month-end closing activities and accrual adjustments
- Collaborate with procurement on vendor contract terms and payment terms
- Implement process improvements using automation tools (e.g., Coupa)
- Conduct audits for compliance with SOX and internal controls
- Mentor junior AP team members on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience in remote/hybrid settings
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle)
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance requirements
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Certification (e.g., APFC, CAPP) preferred
- Experience with high-volume payment processing (>1000 invoices/month)
