Responsibilities
- Process and verify high-volume invoices with 100% accuracy, ensuring all data is entered into the ERP system correctly.
- Reconcile vendor statements monthly and resolve discrepancies or billing errors promptly.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding payment status, inquiries, and account set-ups.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and financial reporting.
- Review and approve expense reports in compliance with company policy.
- Maintain accurate filing systems (digital and physical) for all financial documents and contracts.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable, with at least 1 year in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as NetSuite, Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and macros.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and internal controls.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
