Responsibilities
- Process and verify high-volume invoices for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Manage vendor relationships, addressing inquiries, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining the vendor master database.
- Perform month-end and year-end close duties, including accruals and reconciliations.
- Review and approve expense reports and travel reimbursements in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure data integrity.
- Assist with internal audits and financial reporting as requested by management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the AP workflow to increase efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-4 years of proven experience in Accounts Payable or Finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and invoice auditing processes.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting with high self-discipline.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is a plus.
