Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, including the accurate and timely processing of invoices, matching, and coding.
- Resolve vendor inquiries and discrepancies, ensuring timely payments and maintaining positive vendor relationships.
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures, including accruals and reconciliations.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of AP software and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP).
- Prepare and audit expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies and tax regulations.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments to resolve billing issues and improve processes.
- Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
