Responsibilities
- Process high-volume accounts payable transactions with 99.8% accuracy
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve payment discrepancies proactively
- Lead month-end closing activities and reconciliation processes
- Optimize invoice workflows using SAP and Oracle ERP systems
- Implement process improvements reducing processing time by 20%
- Conduct 3-way matching for procurement transactions
- Maintain compliance with SOX regulations and internal controls
- Train junior AP staff on system protocols and best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience in corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and ERP systems
- CPA or CMA certification preferred
- Proven experience with high-volume transaction processing (>1,000 invoices/month)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience implementing AP automation tools (Coupa, Tipalti)
- Knowledge of sales tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to work independently in remote environment
