Responsibilities
- Manage complex month-end and year-end close processes for multiple entities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead audit coordination and documentation preparation
- Develop financial models and forecasting reports for executive leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and process improvements
- Maintain internal controls and implement SOX compliance measures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Expertise in NetSuite, QuickBooks, and advanced Excel functions
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance (WA/NC focus)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data to insights
- Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder interactions
- Remote work experience with demonstrated self-management
- Proficiency in accounting software implementation and optimization
