Responsibilities
- Process high-volume accounts payable transactions including invoice verification, coding, and payment scheduling
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with proactive communication
- Manage electronic payments and ensure compliance with internal controls
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to resolve payment issues
- Generate monthly AP reports and support month-end closing processes
- Maintain accurate vendor master data and payment terms
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for AP workflows
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience in a corporate environment
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Associates degree in Accounting/Finance required; Bachelor's preferred
