Apex Financial Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end AP lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in our financial operations. Responsibilities
- Review and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Process and post invoices into the ERP system (SAP/NetSuite) within agreed-upon SLAs.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or billing errors promptly.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and reconciliations.
- Manage 1099 reporting and vendor master data maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments regarding payment statuses.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive Accounts Payable experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or QuickBooks) is required.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and internal control procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex billing issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration preferred.
