Join our dynamic finance team at Global Financial Partners as we urgently seek a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist in Dallas, TX. This is a critical role requiring immediate placement to support our high-volume AP operations. You'll be instrumental in maintaining vendor relationships, ensuring accurate payment processing, and optimizing financial workflows in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Responsibilities
- Process high-volume accounts payable transactions within strict deadlines
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies proactively
- Coordinate with procurement and departments to resolve invoice discrepancies
- Manage vendor payment terms and ensure compliance with company policies
- Assist in month-end closing activities and financial reporting
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience in a corporate setting
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Advanced knowledge of ERP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- AP certification (CAPP or similar) a plus
- Experience with high-volume transaction processing
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments
