Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes for high-volume transactions exceeding $10M monthly
- Optimize vendor payment cycles and negotiate early payment discounts
- Lead month-end closing procedures and reconciliation activities
- Implement and maintain internal controls for AP compliance
- Collaborate with procurement on vendor contract terms and payment terms
- Analyze aging reports and resolve payment discrepancies
- Train junior AP staff on ERP system workflows
Qualifications
- 5+ years of high-volume accounts payable experience
- Advanced proficiency in SAP and Oracle ERP systems
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) preferred
- Expert-level Excel skills with VLOOKUP and Pivot Table mastery
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Proven track record of process improvement initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
