Responsibilities
- Process high-volume accounts payable transactions with 99.9% accuracy
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies within 48 hours
- Optimize invoice workflows using SAP and Oracle ERP systems
- Manage 1099 vendor compliance and tax documentation
- Collaborate with procurement on vendor payment terms optimization
- Lead month-end closing activities for AP subledger
- Train junior staff on AP best practices and system usage
- Analyze AP aging reports and implement cost-saving initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience in a corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems
- Expertise in 1099 compliance and sales tax regulations
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or APICS certification preferred
- Proven ability to process 500+ invoices monthly
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing remote finance teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
