Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processing for 500+ vendors
- Optimize invoice verification, coding, and payment scheduling
- Lead month-end closing activities and reconciliation tasks
- Develop vendor management strategies and negotiate payment terms
- Implement process improvements using SAP and Excel automation
- Coordinate cross-departmental audits and compliance initiatives
- Mentor junior AP staff on best practices and system proficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years of high-volume accounts payable experience
- Expertise in SAP FICO and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables)
- Proven track record in process optimization and cost reduction
- Associate degree in Accounting/Finance required; CPA preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing vendor disputes and payment disputes
- Strong project management abilities with competing deadlines
