Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable operations including invoice processing, vendor payments, and expense reimbursements
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX regulations
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to optimize vendor relationships
- Analyze payment trends and process improvements using ERP systems
- Lead month-end closing activities for AP modules
- Mentor junior AP staff and process documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience in mid-to-large organizations
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Proven ability to manage high-volume payment cycles
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
