Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes including invoice verification, coding, and payment scheduling
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Optimize payment workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce processing time
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams on vendor relationships and contract terms
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls and internal financial policies
- Lead month-end closing activities for AP sub-ledger reconciliation
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience in a corporate or fintech environment
- Expert proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and ERP systems
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) or equivalent preferred
- Proven track record of process optimization and cost reduction
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical skills
- Experience working remotely with asynchronous communication tools
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
