Responsibilities
- Process and verify 200+ invoices monthly with 99.5% accuracy
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve payment discrepancies
- Reconcile AP sub-ledgers and monthly statements
- Optimize invoice processing workflows using SAP/Oracle
- Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting
- Implement process improvements for efficiency gains
- Train junior AP staff on systems and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in accounts payable with ERP exposure
- Advanced Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- SAP or Oracle Financials certification preferred
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Proven track record in process automation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
