Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes including invoice verification, coding, and payment processing
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Coordinate with procurement and finance teams for month-end closings
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX regulations
- Lead vendor relationship management and negotiation efforts
- Analyze payment data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Mentor junior AP staff and train on new systems/policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience in corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience in process optimization and workflow automation
- Proven ability to manage high-volume payment cycles
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
