Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements and management reports
- Manage general ledger operations, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX regulations, and internal controls
- Lead budget forecasting, variance analysis, and cost optimization initiatives
- Coordinate external audits and maintain financial documentation
- Develop financial models to support strategic decision-making
- Mentor junior accountants and improve department workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public or corporate accounting experience
- Expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and ERP systems
- Proven experience with month-end close and audit processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
