Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes including invoice verification, coding, and payment processing
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Optimize vendor payment terms and negotiate early payment discounts
- Collaborate with procurement and accounting teams to process expense reports
- Implement process improvements using automation tools like QuickBooks or SAP
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX regulations
- Lead month-end closing activities for AP sub-ledger
Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience with remote work exposure
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial software
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) designation a plus
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transactions
