Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable cycle including invoice processing, verification, and payment scheduling
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies within SLAs
- Optimize payment processes using NetSuite ERP and automation tools
- Lead month-end closing activities for AP subledger
- Develop vendor relationship management strategies
- Analyze payment trends and process improvement opportunities
- Maintain compliance with SOX controls and audit requirements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience in high-volume environments
- Advanced proficiency in NetSuite, QuickBooks, or SAP
- Expertise in payment processing (ACH, wire, virtual cards)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with 3-way matching and PO-based workflows
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAP) preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of Texas sales tax regulations
