Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable cycle including invoice processing, payment execution, and vendor reconciliation
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce processing time by 20%
- Conduct three-way matching for high-volume transactions and resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly financial reviews
- Maintain accurate vendor master data and payment terms documentation
- Analyze aging reports and implement strategies to optimize early payment discounts
- Lead month-end closing activities for AP subledger
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience in mid-sized organizations
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred)
- Certification in AP/AR (e.g., APP) or equivalent professional designation
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
- Proven ability to process 200+ invoices weekly with 99.5% accuracy
- Experience managing vendor relationships and dispute resolution
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
