Responsibilities
- Process high-volume vendor invoices and ensure timely payments within Net 30 terms
- Reconcile AP sub-ledgers with GL accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Manage vendor master data and maintain accurate 1099 records
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Coordinate with auditors for quarterly/annual compliance reviews
- Analyze payment trends and optimize cash flow management
- Train junior AP staff on compliance procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience in tech or SaaS industries
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- SAP or Oracle ERP system certification required
- Strong understanding of GAAP and SOX compliance
- Experience with high-volume processing (500+ invoices monthly)
- CPA or equivalent finance certification preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
