Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes, including invoice verification, coding, and payment processing
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies within 48 hours
- Implement and maintain AP automation tools to enhance efficiency and reduce processing time
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to optimize vendor payment terms
- Conduct monthly AP reconciliations and ensure compliance with SOX controls
- Lead month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
- Develop and maintain vendor master data accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience
- Expert proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) designation preferred
- Proven experience with AP automation tools (e.g., Tipalti, Coupa)
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in remote work environments with minimal supervision
