Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and general ledgers.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and budgets.
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax document preparation.
- Review and process vendor invoices and expense reports.
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel to analyze financial data.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Deep understanding of GAAP and basic tax preparation principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
