Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and accurate invoicing.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and variance analysis to maintain financial accuracy.
- Maintain and update the general ledger using QuickBooks or Xero.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and financial statements for management review.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation support.
- Organize and digitize financial documents and records.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding financial inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related role.
- Proficient in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable transportation and availability for occasional in-office meetings.
