Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile high-volume accounts payable transactions within 3-day SLAs
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve payment discrepancies proactively
- Oversee month-end closing activities and AP reconciliations
- Optimize invoice processing workflows using SAP and Oracle systems
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls and internal audit requirements
- Lead AP process improvement initiatives and automation projects
- Coordinate with procurement and finance teams on vendor contracts
- Train and mentor junior AP staff on best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of high-volume accounts payable experience in a corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in SAP and Oracle ERP systems
- Expertise in SOX compliance and internal controls
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) preferred
- Proven ability to manage competing deadlines in urgent situations
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience leading process improvement initiatives
