Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for accuracy, proper coding, and approval compliance.
- Reconcile vendor statements monthly and resolve any billing discrepancies or queries promptly.
- Manage the full-cycle Accounts Payable process, ensuring all payments are made on time to maintain good vendor relationships.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close procedures, including accruals and reconciliations.
- Maintain and update vendor master files and ensure compliance with 1099 reporting requirements.
- Prepare and analyze AP aging reports to identify trends and potential cash flow issues.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience in Accounts Payable or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and macros) is required.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.
