Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes including invoice verification, coding, and payment processing
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Optimize payment cycles using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle experience preferred)
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams on payment terms and discounts
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX regulations
- Generate monthly AP reports for financial analysis and forecasting
- Lead month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience in a corporate environment
- Expert proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks/SAP)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Experience with high-volume payment processing (500+ invoices monthly)
- Certification (e.g., APFC, CAPP) is a plus
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting
