Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, including invoice receipt, coding, verification, and payment execution.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies with speed and accuracy.
- Ensure strict adherence to internal controls, SOX regulations, and corporate financial policies.
- Leverage ERP systems (NetSuite or SAP) to maintain accurate financial records and generate ad-hoc reports.
- Collaborate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve invoice inquiries and payment issues.
- Identify opportunities to streamline AP workflows and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes as required.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or General Ledger accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and experience with ERP software.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical skills with an unwavering attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA/CMA preferred but not required).
