Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement
- Prepare and present accurate financial statements to stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable functions and ensure timely payment processing
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Lead audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification strongly preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills
- Demonstrated expertise in financial statement preparation and analysis
- Strong understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
