Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Oversee general ledger maintenance and reconcile complex accounts
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide strategic insights
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Lead audit preparation processes and coordinate with external auditors
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate sector
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proven experience with financial reporting and compliance regulations
