Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct variance analysis and reconcile bank/credit card accounts
- Lead month-end closing processes and journal entry reviews
- Collaborate on annual budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Implement internal controls to ensure financial accuracy
- Serve as primary contact for external audits and tax filings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance standards
- Experience managing financial audits and reporting cycles
- Proven analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder presentations
