Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial audits and tax filings.
- Perform variance analysis and provide insights to management on financial performance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in general accounting or finance roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (Advanced).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
