Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger reconciliation
- Lead month-end closing processes and variance reporting
- Oversee tax compliance and audit preparation documentation
- Develop financial models for budget forecasting and strategic planning
- Mentor junior accounting staff on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations (FL-specific)
- Proven experience with SOX compliance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
