Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles
- Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts and general ledger
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Lead month-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (Advanced functions)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines
