Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Lead financial reporting initiatives for executive stakeholders and external partners
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and optimize cash flow operations
- Develop and maintain internal controls ensuring SOX compliance
- Analyze variance reports and provide actionable financial insights
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Streamline accounting workflows using NetSuite and QuickBooks platforms
- Mentor junior accountants and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience with public/private sector
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and regulatory reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (NetSuite/SAP)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
