Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist with monthly and quarterly tax preparations and filing.
- Process payroll for multiple clients with a focus on weekly accuracy.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries and financial status.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies quickly.
- Experience with payroll processing is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites in the Bay Area.
