Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
- Prepare complex financial statements and regulatory reports for internal stakeholders and external auditors.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process for multiple departments.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and tax laws.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree (MBA/MAcc) preferred.
- CPA certification is a significant plus.
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and accounting software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
