As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our clients. You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy in financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and providing essential financial reports. Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile monthly bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including invoicing and payments.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain and organize financial documents and ledgers in our cloud-based accounting software.
- Perform bank deposits and handle petty cash management.
- Assist with payroll processing for select clients.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
