Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and posting of daily journal entries and general ledger accounts.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and account analysis to ensure accuracy.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes by collecting necessary financial data.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review.
- Maintain accurate and organized filing systems for both digital and physical documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or currently pursuing CPA certification).
- Must be located in or willing to work remotely from the Memphis, TN area.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).
- Basic knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage).
- Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
