Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable functions and payroll processing
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for efficiency
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual reviews and tax season
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
- Maintain accurate documentation in accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite)
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Proven ability to manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
