Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for diverse client portfolios
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes with weekly payment cycles
- Implement and optimize financial controls for compliance with GAAP
- Lead tax preparation and audit support initiatives
- Develop financial models for forecasting and budgeting
- Mentor junior accounting staff on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel
- Expertise in SOX compliance and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing multi-state tax filings
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
