Responsibilities
- Manage daily Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and on time.
- Perform monthly and quarterly bank reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation support, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Reconcile credit card statements and manage expense reports.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to maintain accurate ledgers.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience, preferably in a small business or agency setting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is required.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accrual accounting principles.
- High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Must possess a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with clients professionally.
