Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
- Process accounts payable and receivable with high accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheets.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and returns.
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records for audit readiness.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to streamline financial processes and reporting.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas).
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge of GAAP and basic payroll processing procedures.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
