Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15+ client portfolios including AP/AR, GL reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Prepare and file quarterly tax returns with 99% accuracy rate
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Lead month-end closing procedures with strict deadlines
- Implement and maintain internal controls for compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Train junior staff on accounting software and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transaction processing
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for client reporting
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
