In this role, you will be the backbone of our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all our reporting processes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in the budgeting process and provide variance analysis to management.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and improve financial reporting.
- Ensure tax compliance and assist with external audits as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
