Responsibilities
- Oversee the general ledger accounting process, ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end closings.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all invoices are processed and reconciled correctly.
- Conduct internal audits and compliance reviews to adhere to GAAP and company policies.
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting and operational workflows.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions and accounting software to maintain data integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in full-cycle accounting, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
