Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Lead internal audits and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow management
- Develop financial models for strategic decision-making
- Mentor junior accountants and ensure team compliance with regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting or corporate accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel with VBA skills
- Demonstrated expertise in tax preparation and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Active California CPA license required
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and international transactions
