- Oversee payroll processes to guarantee accurate weekly payouts for all staff.
- Prepare year-end accounts and assist in statutory audits.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage general ledger accounts.
- Provide financial insights and variance analysis to senior management.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants.
Qualifications
- ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Proven experience in a senior accounting role within the UK finance sector.
- Strong working knowledge of UK tax legislation and IFRS.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data.
