Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting processes for a diverse client portfolio.
- Prepare and review balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports with high accuracy.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of VAT returns, corporation tax computations, and year-end adjustments.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring all invoices are processed correctly and payments are made on time.
- Conduct month-end close procedures efficiently and prepare management accounts for senior stakeholders.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support for budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or part-qualified (AAT Level 4) with significant experience.
- Proven experience in UK financial reporting, VAT, and corporation tax compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP accounting standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines.
