Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger and ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Process payroll and ensure all employees are paid correctly and on a weekly basis.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax documents and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Perform internal audits to identify discrepancies and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- CPA certification or equivalent professional experience is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software is mandatory.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Experience with payroll processing is a plus.
